Default Toddler on steroids = sleeplessness?

    Has anyone ever used/administered nasonex?

    It's apparently a 'powerful' steroid.

DD has been on it for almost a week now and her sleep has been shot. Sleeplessness is not listed as a side effect and I can't find much information about 'nasonex junior'

Thought I might ask some real mums if they've had any experience with the drug?

I used it for myself when I had some ongoing sinus issues, but didn't notice any side effects. My son hasn't had it, sorry.

I have noticed a big behavior shift as well.

She's been in 'time out' about 3-4 times a day lately, usually it's once every 3-4 DAYS! she's been throwing big tantys too. Kicking, doing to stiff board maneuver, head banging arm thumping etc.

Hi I don't know anything about nasonex other than its a steriod but I know that other types of steroids can cause sleeplessness if given at night time.

    Thanks beatnik.

She only has it first thing in the morning (after breakfast)

But her day time sleeps have gone from 4 hours down to 1 hour, and over night she has gone from 12 hours with zero wakings to 10 hours with 3-4 wakings.
