Yay! I love cakes!

This is my first effort after doing the Basics course at Planet Cake:

This was my 1st ever attempt at cake making. It was for my DD's 13th Birthday (she's a Twihard

). And another.

I misjudged the candle placement... they were supposed to go all the way around

My 2nd attempt was a SPANNER for my DH. It didn't turn out the greatest... it was a really hot day & that just didn't work in my favour

It wasn't that big really. Was two cakes in baked in loaf tins then divided into three.

So each 'carriage' was about 10cm x 5cm?

But we had ten adults and 2 toddlers there and I'm still eating cake today!
