    Also to the rainbow cake ladies. Do you use food coloring or the special cake dye.

    I dunno.... I only filled them up this full... Some of them spilt over a little but not alot.

    Perhaps it could also be something to do with the cake recipe you used?

    Mine was quite thick...?

    I just used normal food colouring from woolies. I was worried the colour would be dull but i wasn't about to pay $8 a colour from spotlight for the gel ones. Turns out the normal ones worked really well

    I just use the queen colours and they turn out nice and bright for rainbow cakes....
