    Here is my DS first birthday cake, the bottom was Mississippi mudcake with a layer of chocolate ganche in the centre covered in buttercream and the top giraffe was vanilla sour cream cake covered in fondant.

    This is my sisters dog, and the cake I made for his birthday

    I am no good at fondants so i make buttercream transfers - just like colouring in!!!

    Ok all you awesome cake makers, how would an absolute amateur go about making a 3d teapot cake? It's for my DD's first birthday and I don't bake regularly, so need lots of help!

    I have discovered the secret of making rounded cakes using a Pyrex bowl, join two of these together and decorate!
