My DH thought that belly bub got the hiccups all the time because I wasn't breathing properly Every time bubs would get the hiccups, he would very seriously lead me through an intense deep breathing exercise as he was convinced baby was not getting enough air!

The midwife had to explain to him the real reason...

When I was pregnant with DS we went shopping after finding out at the 20 week scan it was a boy. I held up a blue sleeveless singlet suit and said to DF how cute it was. He had a funny look on his face and I asked him what was wrong and he said "But that's for girls".

He thought that it was baby bathers.
