we went on a cruise about 18 months ago and stopped at port vila for the day. we went to some cultural village it was really interesting even if it was pouring rain. we also went snorkelling and walked around the town. apparently the cascade falls are good to see but it involves slippery steps etc and i wasnt risking it as i was pregnant at the time.

Ok not so excited anymore and I don't know how to tell dad without offending.... He sent me a link of where we are going to stay. 4 1/2 star villa absolutely gorgeous. Why arnt I happy, lets see I will have a 2 1/2 yr old dd who can't stay still and wanders during the nite, it open plan villa with no secure doors it's own pool with no fence or even a step it's one of those ground level floating type one and it's 50 meters from the beach. Sounds fabulous hey but how am I going to relax with a spirited child who won't stay still???

I agree with above. Take a playpen with you - you can get big ones that fold down to nothing. Pack heaps of toys and crafts to keep him amused. You will find the staff will assist as well!

    Enjoy it!
