SO sweet! And that's a quick engagement - love it! Don't let anyone tell you can't organise a wedding in four months because it's totally not true.

Buttercup, how did your scan go??

    Good evening ladies!

MrsRB have you got your BT results yet? Bet you can't wait to hear them!!!

Bubby4us, love your mindset!! Fingers crossed you get a big fat surprise soon!!

AFM ~ Had another scan on Friday and had a 18mm follie and E2 levels were great but LH wasn't looking like it would surge so I triggered on Saturday morning and I guess I'm in my TWW, a lot less stressful then an IVF waiting game I have to say (early days yet) but feeling good

    How is everyone else?

Oooh ! Good luck Buttercup ... the TWW is horrendous but at least it's still a time of anticipation and hopefulness!

No BT results yet; I'll call tomorrow to see and we have the US on Wednesday which I'm looking forward to (I know there won't be much to see but I want to see what's there!).

I have to admit that I am completely paranoid. On Friday I tested just to be sure ... and on Saturday ... and I had to hold myself back from doing it today too! No reason to think anything's happened but it's all so new that POAS is how I'm managing my anxiety. DH is managing his by not getting too exciting which I understand but don't like, so in the meantime I intend to keep POAS until I am confident I've got a sticky one!

We both have a feeling it's a boy. I've always been adamant I want two girls so I need to remind myself to be happy with ten fingers, ten toes

    hi ladies,
im subscribing, i seem to have a short LP of around 9-12 days since having ds and stopping bf'ing. we started ttc 2 cycles ago and this cycle my LP was 9 days again after having seemed like it was lengthening slightly
i guess im looking for any positive stories of ppl who went on to have successful pregnancies with a short LP or any advice on what you did to lengthen it. i just restarted my vitex that i took pre ds to fall preg. hopefully that might help.

    Hi dancingtren,

Iwish I could give you useful advice on lengthening a short LP but I got my BFP just as I'd started trying to do the same thing! I took los of B6 and was about to start acupuncture, and was chasing down some Vitex.

Let us know how you're going!

Reviving this thread as I'm back in the same boat!!

So following my first call out in early 2012, my BFP stuck and I am now gazing at my amazing 18 month old DD (as she spreads yoghurt all over the coffee table). We're ready for another!

AF only returned on Mother's Day so I'm now on CD38. I Od (according to CM and BBT) on CD32 and as I've been taking Vitex for a few weeks I'm hoping my LP will spread out to at least 10 days. I'm crossing my fingers until Saturday (which will be CD42/LP10) or even better Monday (CD44/LP12) so even if I'm not pg, my LP will be better than pre-pg.

After a couple of cycles my GP wants me to get PCOS scans again. Once again I'm open to progesterone or clomid or metformin but really hoping for a bit of a fluke like last time (seeing as she turned out so well!).

So anyway - would love any advice, success stories, wisdom or consolation!

Mrs RB! Congratulations on the birth of your little girl How wonderful. Well it looks like we are very much back in the same boat again, our last ditch clomid cycle got us our precious little girl as well. She was born on the 12 December 2012, we mustn't be too far from your daughter. Well we started trying again in November (new specialist as we have moved states...when our daughter was 3 weeks old, it was crazy stressful!) we thought it would be 'so easy' we knew the recipe...clomid, monitored cycle, progesterone support and vitex...but when we went to see the specialist he was happy to do it but said it wouldn't work because our E2 levels were now too low to react to clomid but we were adamant (it worked before right) ...turns out he was right, we didn't even react enough to get a period after the clomid so his suggestion was injections which bypass the involvement of my brain...so here we are on cycle 2 of injections. Cycle 1 was cancelled last month as I went from absolutely no reaction on a Thursday(after nearly 3 weeks of injections..ouch)... to an E2 of over 3000 on the Monday with 8?! gorgeous follicles on Monday...crazy body! Right now we are on Day 16 of injections so hopefully we actually are growing a nice follicle and levels are rising nice and slowly Oh I'm bypassing Saturday for you and fingers are all crossed that you make it until Monday! Here's to a long LP!!

Hi, I haven't read all the replies in the thread, but hoping I can help someone. I have half a packet of OPK's that I used when I was TTC and was wondering if anyone wants them? They're the Clearblue Digital Ovulation Tests with the dual hormone indicator. I've still got the box, instructions, holder and 6 test sticks (I bought a pack of 10, and only used 4 before falling pregnant). They expire in November.

    This is the one:

Anyway, if anyone wants them, feel free to PM me and I'll post them to you. I'm 30 weeks pregnant now and am never going to use them but they were expensive and it seems like such a waste to throw them away! I don't want any payment for them, just hoping they can go to good use.
