thankyou all for your advice, i saat him down last night and put on my serious voice and stated my concerns and told him he was just going to have to trust me on this. and he was fine with it, thank god..... i am just so worried about what effect it would have on us in the long run as it has been making me feel physically ill the thought of making that decision and i know i would be devistated forever if i made that decision now. But men see things so simply black and white, but he is supporting me in this so today i actually feel so much better. once again thankyou all for your advice, i appreciate it.

I realise you have already made your decision, but I thought I would add another perspective that hasn't yet been broached.

I have also read a thread on here from a woman complaining after having complications after a tubal ligation done at the same time as a c/sec, and when she researched it she discovered the risk of complications is greater than if there was a month or two delay between the two procedures. So that is another factor to consider.

If your unsure I'd put it off too. You don't want to regret it later. I'd be telling dh you don't feel right at the moment getting it done probably for the same reason he doesnt want a vasectomy
