First labour was 7 hours from first contraction to birth- would have been shorter but epi dural slowed it down for a bit.

Second labour was 2 hours from first contraction to birth.

I'm due to have #2 in 19 days and DP works FIFO. I am due on his first day off and crossing eerything that it doesn't start until he gets home.

DD contractions started at 11pm Monday (irregular but getting closer together), waters broke at 10:30pm Wed, 4 hours & 20 mins of established labour, 9 mins of pushing and she was born at 2:59am Thurs.

Is everyone going from established labour or from the very first contraction?
First contraction. Established labour with 1st was 12hours and 2nd was still 5 hrs (was in established labour from get go due to weeks of pre-labour)
But my 1st was posterior and ended in c/s which is why it was so long, my 2nd was engaged and a vb, I think it's why it went quicker.
