Congrats, Deany Good luck this time around, for a stress-less, easy and short delivery.

My first was 14hours from induction to delivery, with 9hours of intense vomitting.

Second not even in the works yet, so I'll update this in a few years...maybe...

I am 38 now, but you never know...

Was induced for all 3 of my labours.
From ARM to baby out, 1st was 16.5hrs, 2nd was 7.5hrs, 3rd was 8.5hrs. My OB told me that statistically, each stage of labour for your 2nd and subsequent labours are about half the time of your first labour. So it usually takes half the time to dilate and half the time to push.

This thread has succeeded in scaring my pants off...

I'm due to have #2 in 19 days and DP works FIFO. I am due on his first day off and crossing eerything that it doesn't start until he gets home.

DD contractions started at 11pm Monday (irregular but getting closer together), waters broke at 10:30pm Wed, 4 hours & 20 mins of established labour, 9 mins of pushing and she was born at 2:59am Thurs.

Is everyone going from established labour or from the very first contraction?
