    We complain all the time about where our taxes go. My husband pays over 50k a year in taxa do all his work mates and yet the money get spent on the south east not up here in central Queensland

    It very rarely makes it past Bundaberg. I remember when it was announced that the Bruce Highway north of Townsville would be upgraded, so many people from Brisbane kicked up a stink because it would cost so much. It would only cost that much because it was neglected for so long. The people arguing over it initially lived in the north too.
