To buy a double pram or to not buy a double pram this is the question

So we are expecting baby number 3 end of july our youngest is 27 months old and still enjoys falling asleep in her stroller whilst we are out and about she also enjoys walking im just deciding on wether or not to buy a double pram is this going to be a waste of money has anyone got one are they too big and bulky ?
i do alot of walking and catch the bus and train loads that is why we still use our stroller for little miss

ive been pram shopping this week with hubby and looked at the phil and teds they look ok but have had so many mixed reviews from ppl and there seems to be no room for a nappy bag

this is really frustrating me lol any help would be much appreciated

Is the pt you use wheelchair accessible? I use my mountain buggy duo on pt a lot, but I'm lucky that 9/10 the buses I use are friendly. My children are 4, 3 and almost 7 months and both of my boys use the pram, we also walk 6.4km to do kindy drop offs and pick ups 5 times a fortnight.

yeah it sure is wheelchair friendly most of the buses are im lucky

i guess if im going to be doing alot of walking a double pram may be a good investment

Im expecting number 2 in mid July and dd turns 3 in start of August. We upgraded our strider dlx to plus to have the double option.
I'm hoping to buy a double agile because it's combpatiable with the strider.
However I love the mountain bubby doubles

there is so many options now but really not wanting to spend loads of $$ gumtree has some awesome deals oh well i guess we still got 5more months to find the perfect pram

You can get the basic model which only clips onto the pram or the more deluxe model that you can use as a separate stroller.

Might be worth it, as you most likely wont have the older bub in the pram for much longer?? I'm sure resale would be fairly good too!

after much research on prams galore with toddler seats,double prams etc oh my goodness what a headache hubby said lets just wait till bubs is born and see how our youngest goes she may be happy walking and we wont have wasted a ton of money will just make sure i have the ergo with me most of the time if little miss does want the pram

If my two had been that close, I probably would have bought a double, but that's because we live in inner Melb and do a lot of walking. Or I would have at least bought a skate board to attach to my pram. As it is I have a 4.5 year age gap so no need for anything, DD just uses DS's old Mountain Buggy and DS walks (he's now 5). Sort of depends on your lifestyle.

From a young age I would always let DS walk for a bit when we first headed out the door, but he would eventually tire and ask to go in the pram. As time went on he spent more and more time walking and less in the pram, until eventually he preferred to walk or ride his bike.

Go the ergo!!!
I've got a 6 week old and have an exactly 2 year gap between her and the 2 yr old.
I decided not to waste money on a pram and we have so far made do really easily.
I also have a buggy board and recommend that or a similar product, I did this for my oldest when the two yr old was a baby.
You will be surprised how quickly your oldest grows up in the coming months.
