Default Did you have your baby on or close to a full moon?

    Hi all,

My due date is April 10 but I'm really wondering if bubs will be born on or close to the full moon April 6. I don't know much about these things but apparently ancient cultures used to determine their conception and due dates according to the phases of the moon which were a lot more accurate when we didn't have so much artificial light around us.

I know that I ovulated on the full moon and often do. I read somewhere that it's good for fertility and well, for me it was

Anyway, for those mummas who weren't induced or had planned c sections, how close to the full moon was your bubba born?

The below website has a list of full moon dates.

Nope, DD was born naturally 1 week exactly before the full moon for the month she was born.

My brother and I were both born near a full moon as was my DH. My DD was born near a full moon too. This bub is due "theoretically" near a new moon but I'm not placing bets either way.

According to that list DS was born on a full moon and DD was 7 days before the full moon.

I was born 20 days before the full moon.

DD was born 2 days before the full moon. We conceived (I think) about 6 days before full moon.

4 days after a full moon.

The only reason I even know this is because the midwives said that they ran out of birthing suites and had a full hospital on the full moon, 4 days later they all checked out and I checked into an almost empty maternity suite. I was the only one in labour that night.

They said it was like this every full moon.
