warehouse worker $37000 and another job $21000 on top of that he has a bachelor in something that he has never even had a job in if he did he could be earning over $150 000. I really dont care as long as he is happy and that there is food in the fridge and our bills are paid.

Dh is a carpenter and works in big construction. He has been in the same job for 3 years. His annual income changes each year depending on his shifts and projects its usually between $100k and $130k p/a.

He was in the mines before this and is about to go back (we grew up in Bowen basin qld) and are moving back. He will be paid much higher again for half the work time.

lets not start a who's job sucks more, but being a high school teacher ain't a walk in the park either, trying to teach a bunch of snot nosed a55hat teenagers who hurl abuse, throw tables at you, key your car! not to mention u cant give them a blardy detention without the parents calling you up in your lunch break hurling abuse at you too threatening to get you fired and all the rest.

teachers AND nurses need to be more appreciated by the community and financially... and ill pull the line i always pull when people undervalue teachers, without teachers there wouldn't be all the other jobs that get so much more respect.
