    Default Cute baby sewing patterns

    Hi everyone...

I've recently started purchasing patterns from an American site as I save a lot of money compared to what we get charged in stores like Spotlight here in Australia.

I haven't got a baby to sew for yet, but I found this pattern and just had to share it with mums who might be interested in making unique and super cute nappy covers.

This pattern is a download that you print out, but you can also buy your favourite Butterick, Simplicity, Burda, New Look, McCalls and Vogue patterns as normal paper patterns delivered to your door.

    http://www.sewingpatterns.com/sub_item.php?item_num=KSP102&model=%&new_category= &view=gallery&brand=Kwik_Sew_Download&category=new _releases&pageGoto=0&pageFormat=3|186|186&pageCoun t=1000&search=&return=

If anyone else has a great online pattern resource, I'd be very interested in the links in as I refuse to pay up to $20 for 1 pattern in our local stores.

I hope you enjoy this pattern

Now I just need a baby to make them for

danamadeit.com has basic, simple free nappy cover pattern that you can add ruffles etc to.

Also I google 'free baby sunsuit pattern' and found a GORGEOUS ruffled bottom sunsuit with crossover straps that I'm going to attempt

Can't remember the site, if you can't find it and want it I'll get it off my mums computer (where I found it).

Hi Peanut - if you go to www.sewingpatterns.com and search Ksp102 you sghould be able to find it

Breakthemould - is this the pattern you were talking about: http://littlebettydesigns.blogspot.c...ttern-and.html

It's super cute and doesn't look too difficult either... now I really need a bubba to sew for... speaking of which, I'm having an embryo transferred tomorrow - wish me luck

Thank you for your well wishes ladies... I'm super nervous this morning. I have to restrain myself from calling the scientists again to check on the progress of the embryos!!!

Four hours to go..... how exciting... I'm going to be PUPO today!!!

So, back to the thread topic.... I was going through my patterns last night when I came across my Kwik Sew books. I had completely forgotten about them, it's been so long since I've sewn for a baby or small child. These books are brilliant for all of your basic pattern blocks. The designs are quite plain though, so I always added details that were up with the current fashion trends. Anyway, I thought I'd mention them, as they are great value and very reliable patterns.

On another note, I made myself a skirt last night. I'm so happy with it. It fits me great now, but it's so incredibly stretchy it will double as a maternity skirt.
