Hi girls, no luck here either I'm in the middle of my assessment cycle for IVF (icsi) Drove 2 hours each way yesterday just for DP to do another SA, the clinic like to do their own testing in house. I was scheduled for a hycosy procedure but I was too heavy over their limit by 1kg!! So that's next month, so hopefully start cycling April/May xx

Ok ladies S.A results are in! Urologist has said technical success but motility and live numbers are low, he said he has concerns that the sample was analysed later than it should of been so thinks that may have something to do with it ( analysed 4hrs after sample retrieved when it should be within 2hrs). What are your thoughts? Is there anything DF can do to improve these numbers?? Not really sure what to think-this is all new to me, I guess it's good that there are swimmers and hopefully they'll improve not decrease over time. He wants to see us again if not pregnant within the next 3 months.... We are currently 3 months post reversal.

    Time of collection : 0930
    Time of examination: 1322

    Appearance: Normal

    Volume: 8 ml ( >1.5 )
    Motility: L 9 % ( >40 )
    Sperm concentration: 20 X10^6/ml ( >15 )
    Live spermatozoa: L 30 % ( >58 )
    Morphology (%Normal): 5 % ( >4 )

Insufficient number of motile spermatozoa to assess forward
    progression.
Lower reference limits as per WHO Guidelines 5th Ed 2011.

Semen samples for fertility assessment should be examined within two
    hours.

@onedaymaybebaby hi hun - yes agree sample should be collected and tested within 2 hrs Dh sample was pretty much word for word same as yours and sorry to say our never improved just declined - every person is different though. I'm glad he shared this with you as dr lechich didn't and just said there swimmers and that's it. Yes it does only take one but there has to be a lot if 1 just to get there in a normal SA We are 2.5 yrs since vR - tryed abouts everything - naturopath homeopath - lots of BD - diet lifestyle ( dh is a fit as fiddle and very lean)Sorry I wanted to be honest with you and share my experience xxxI have all fingers crossed it's different for you xxx Many hugs

Hi Felicia, thanks for your thoughts! Im happy there are swimmers so if we have to go down the ICSI route it will be easier on him! He's currently taking menevit, thinking we might go to a naturopath to see what, if anything, else we can do. Fingers crossed I guess! Thanks again 😊

Didn't get a chance for much BD this time round, I've been using the clear blue digital ovulation kits and jumped from low to peak in one day! I am one that gets mittelschmerz (sp), about 15hrs after my peak opk I got right side pain! Amazing how our bodies work! So am currently 6dpo but really don't hold out much hope with those SA results. But you've gotta be in to win right? Thinking of everyone and sending positive vibes xx
