    HI ladies,

Kismet - yay, 3 fertilised eggs is good... are you going for day 5 transfer... 1 or 2? Hope your niece is ok?????

Millie - congrats a girl!!! It is nice to be surprised in this 'science game' I agree... Good you're past half way and hope you've got all those house jobs sorted...

Nessie - I reckon IVF is a numbers game... you just need to give it a crack and wait for the golden egg/embryo. Surely your luck will change soon?

Gracefilled - yikes, on bed rest already, sorry to hear this. Hope you don't get too uncomfortable like JF (or you'll be hitting the panadiene too!). On the up side you'll get lots of DVD's watched and books read and a new found respect from your DH

JF - Will your DH help when no 2 comes along??? Sounds like you'll need it with Harry... it will be excellent bonding for them My DH has been excellent - he does N every morning for me so I can get T sorted, fed and out the door before midday In the evenings we both do everything now so kids are mostly in bed by 7:30 .... sounds good 'us' time but unfortunately I'm usually in bed by 8-9ish so not much time for anything else.

AFM - hospital tracked me down and shamed me into coming back with Tom and his crooked feet I refused to do plasters yet again as there's no long term gain but certainly short term PAIN! So now we have reverse last booties for him ie. very tight and highly expensive leather boots that are very curved and look like they are on the wrong foot IYKWIM... meant to wear them 23 hours per day and they warned me I have to get this sorted before he crawls and definitely well before he's walking... So we're slowly building up and I plan to put bandaids on the areas of pressure - imagine if we had to wear heavy stiff leather boots that are super tight 23 hours straight up with no protection!!!!!! Of course we'd get blisters and be miserable!! Poor chicken
As for Nathan, I've sent him to bed without a nappy first time today and I think he thinks that's a cue for NOT sleeping... so he's causing a racket in there and I'm ignoring.... want him hopefully a little bit rested and functioning before our highly expensive weekly speech therapy appointment at 4pm!!

Just some brief hellos from me tonight as I have about 3hrs of study ahead of me and then 4hrs of school in the morning - and feeling lousy with blocked up nose and sort throat to boot. Anyway enough moaning from me.

Millie, congrats on your lovely little girl surprise. A lovely surprise indeed.

Gracefilled, what a challenging time for you. Can you get a Au Pair (bit cheaper than a nanny), just to help you out once you get home? Good to hear the boys are doing so well. Hope the bed rest is not driving you too crazy

Mum4Nay, poor Tom. That must be hard to go through when you know it is so uncomfortable for him. I hope it sorts things out.

Kismet, that is such a great fert rate. I have everything crossed all three make it to the finish line. . Your last sentence though made my heart sink for you. I hope you are coping ok. Thinking of you.

Fiona, wow wee.. 31 weeks. The time seems to have flown!

Nessie, chickadees LOL , I didn't know they still existed. Yum! Hope Ash enjoyed daycare. That's one good thing about it, it does ususally tire them out and hopefully they sleep well once they get home.

JFB, can't remember if I told you or not, but I had a special physio who treated pregnant women strap me up with tape to help support my hips and back... it did give me a bit of relief for the last few weeks.

    I'm 6dpo, but who's counting

Time for updates - I'm on my phone so apologies for brief replies in advance.

Jfb - I hope bub makes a move soon - the waiting at this end is excruciating esp when ur sore & looking after H. I am already struggling with reaching into cot & started with the back pain. I'd was going to see a Physio this week anyone but got one by default in hosp & she's given me some taping / support ' it's already helping - and she's coming back to do massage on Mon.

Alittle - congrats on being pupo with 2 great looking embryos - good luck on that horrible wait for the
    Next week to BT.

FionaA - wow big congrats on making it to 31 weeks - that's fabulous news. I was on Pariet upto twice daily for both pregnancies plus mylanta & titralac (from pharmacy) when needed so I understand your pain. I have to sit up for at least 2 hrs after eating & some nights have to sleep sitting up - not actually recommended for a good nights sleep....

MG - I think with 3 under 2 I am definitely going to need one of your screens!

Kismet - great news on your EPU & fabulous fertilization rate. Sorry youve had some tough news to deal with while you wait - its not like you've got enough to do your head in right now as it is - big hugs for the next few days & look forward to hearing your transfer news xxx

Sonja - Marc's photos is gorgeous - I often don't get to see the photos as I usually check BH on my phone so jots great to catch one. I think I'm going to be needing some sage advice on managing 3 kids pretty soon :-)))

Spot - congratulations on your fabulous 20 week scan results & very pleased to hear your cervix is behaving itself - apparently ill take the hit for the team on that one! It's such a big hurdle to get passed so enjoy feeling pregnant with that healthy pregnancy now :-)

Amum - hope that cabin fever has passed now the rain has settled & you get some calmer days with the boys!

MillieG - congratulations on your gorgeous girl & for passing that almighty 20 weeks hurdle - enjoy the rest of your pregnancy as you prepare for the arrival of your precious bundle of joy

Lochnessie - 7 eggs with 3 fertilised is great for our aging bodies! I got 8 with 4 fert this cycle & 2 to transfer so you on par at this point & you're 1 year ahead of me - fingers crossed that golden egg is in this batch x

Mum4nay - yes I'm hoping the next few weeks will improve DH respect no end! Good luck with Tom's feet - sounds like an awful things to have to battle with him & hope it resolves quickly without to much trauma to both of you

So far so good for me from the hospital bed. Boys moving ok & I think I just spent th last 24 hrs getting my head around the fact that after 14 months I am NOT the primary cared of Soph & that I need to prioritize these babies now - massive head shift in a short time frame. DF has gone into I can cope with everything mode so I'm quietly working on back up plans for now as I'm sure in a week the reality of caring for S 24/7 will kick in. We currently still have the nanny 1 day per week & I'm looking into family day carer (recommended by another mum in my mothers group) 1/week & exploring options of extended family visits from our respective mothers (there lies another long story in itself). It's hard changing your automatic reaction not to lift - S trapped her fingers in the drawer yest & I automatically picked her up to comfort her - how do u stop doing that? At least I understand better why the obst hospitalised me - there is no way I would have done bed rest at home - I keep trying to help the midwives change the bed I feel so useless :-))

DH reports last night from 'mr mom land' that he let S have her nudie time before bath - went into the lounge to find she'd pooed on the carpet & then proceeded to hand it to him - oh how I wish I'd been there to see that one :-)))))

At this stage I'm booked in for another scan on Thu & will be here til nxt weekend. My obst advised me to plan to be in hosp for 12 weeks (ha ha optimistic bugger think these boys are staying in til 36 weeks) so that if I do get to go home I will be pleased - but will continue to be on bed rest until they arrive. Still trying to get my head round that idea but guess I've got lots of time to process that one!

Sorry if I've missed anyone but I think my phone fingers have just about carked it!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend x Grace

Grace - my SIL had bed rest for 2 months when she was preggers with triplets and she got to 35 weeks so you maybe surprised how long you can last. Just hope it doesn't do your head in not being able to do much.

M4N - poor T, it is awful to see a young baby restricted like that but at the end of it all if it does them any good it's worth it, better now than when he's older iykwim.

As for good fert rate, things aren't looking so great now. Still have embies however they have divided rather rapidly and already at 6 to 8 cells. 2 of them are rather fragmented and wouldn't be any good to freeze on day 3 so not counting them, one is a reasonably good looking 7 cell which will be transferred tomorrow, Evie was a 7 cell on day 3 so this one is ahead, I was actually thinking transfer should be today and wishing that would be the case but no it's tomorrow. Pretty much already given up on this cycle tbh unless the one good one is still looking ok tomorrow, only need one so they say, been there done that. Anyway things with my niece will be touch and go until her baby is born, unfortunately her 20wk scan showed her little one has a heart defect, if the baby survives the pregnancy she has to have her in Sydney and will undergo heart surgery straight away. Things were not looking good at all yesterday and she was rushed to a Syndey specialist who thinks she might have a chance, he is one of the best and has done lots of life saving surgery of babies so they have been given a glimmer of hope but only time will tell how this all goes. Very stresssful.

Anyway E has just woken up from her nap so be back with an update tomorrow.

Grace - hope you get more rest and last well. Glad you got good rest in hospital. So hard not to pick the little one up when they need you xx

Horrible news of your niece. I hope things go well when bub is born. This will be such a stressful time for her, and for the rest of you all. Be sure to take care. Xx

Kismet - so sorry about your niece. How stressful for you and your family. I hope everything goes well for your transfer today.

Grace - what a stressful time for you too. I wish I had some sage words of advice for parenting 3 but I think my situation is quite different as my 3 are spaced out. I would only say have low expectations of your DD and how she adjusts and then anything is a bonus. Also, take pleasure in the small things. Little interactions between my kids when they don't know I'm watching fill me with joy sometimes. And learn to meditate. It's a godsend when sleep deprived.

M4n poor Tom and poor you.

JFB I hope for your sake and H's your DH gets some patience fast.

Gotta run. DH has just left for Melbourne for the week and Scarlett is looking for me.
