JFB - you look fabulous what a beautiful round baby bump..still reckon girl in there . Have you dropped cos bump looks low? Is your SIL DH's sister, would she be breaking the boy cycle in his family if she had a girl? I so want that to be you to do that.

Millie - I'm not sure but after looking up info on the safety net etc, I think bcs I am currently eligble for the health care card the saftey net is less but I'm not sure if it applies with IVF, probably not, but would be a bonus if it is. If so I wouldn't be far off the safety net amount once I get my perscriptions for lucrin, clexane and prednisone filled plus previous scripts for other stuff I've had. I've ignored that possibility and estimated I'd be out of pocket around $3000 including cost of the sperm, but that was when I was told it was going to cost me just under a grand for the one straw of the stuff plus transport costs, however when I got my invoice they've only charged me $375 for the supply. I think the clinic have made an error but I haven't mentioned it to them incase they bill me for more(hehe) but spewing if it is right bcs that means I could have ordered more than one straw of sperm, my decision on 1 straw was purely bcs the cost would end up more than the cycle cost. Anyway not sweating over it anymore bcs as it turns out I've got some expenses coming up, it's going to cost a fare bit to get my car fixed or upgrade it, it's 12 years old and needs some work now, amongst other things my rent is going up but that's life, just means I have to hang on to the money I do have.

Alittle - Funny how all specialists form their own opinions about things and what they will and won't try. My FS was anti this and that with just about everything I requested to use except DHEA. I did lose a bit of hair but not much more than usual, which usually looks like alot, but it got thicker than ever when I got pregnant. This time since I've been on it I haven't noticed anymore loss than usual, the only thing is I've gained about 1kg and had a few more pimples, but the weight gain could be the pill so who knows. I'm actually having more trouble coping with the metformin, it is crap. One of the things my FS was most against was using prednisone but in the end we gave it a shot and I truly believe it helped me get pregnant. My FS is more forward thinking these days than he was when I first went to him, and willing to look into newer treatments, they are now using saizen and other clinics have been using it for quite some time before them, the same with DHEA and he now commonly uses prednisone. I was the 2nd patient of his to be placed on DHEA, the 1st patient was successful after using it & I believe was 42 or 43. I think once they see results for themselves they change how they treat patients. Alot of people aren't prepared to be 'guinea pigs' but I think being one of sorts with trying different approaches is what got me over the line. I just don't think someone should be denied from wanting to try something different bcs of an opinion when others can be all for it, if that makes sense. I suppose that's why people seek 2nd opinions from GP's or specialists if they are not sure about the 1st if they are really ill. 2nd opinions have saved lives, so a 2nd opinion from another FS could end up creating a life.

Sonja - oh dear Scarlett is in the wars, poor poppet.

I forget what else I was going to say, a bit brain fogged from virtually no sleep last night, not sure why I'm finding it so hard to sleep lately.

kismet: i dunno, it still feels higher and rounder than H was, althought mind u i was told he was way back in my pelvis and i think facing posterior??? so maybe thats why (and why his head never engaged for labour properly)....SIL is my brother wife....she is from all girl family and the men in my family on that side tend to have way more girls ..cant wait to hear the news today!

afm: just could NOT make it to work today, too tired, feet were yuck yesterday from being up since 4.15am and i was coughing half the night....lost a days pay but dont even care....H is in daycare so i have few hours ti rest til i go to ob appt and what no doubt will be a tragic weigh in...cos errr dont think u are meant to eat easter eggs for breakfast hey

sonja: scarlett sounds like one of the kids who just gets bumps and bruises..H is a bit the same, he always has a bruise on his head somewhere, legs are covered in them and now tow scrapped elbows. mmmm 1% chance...u never know .

Millie - i must have had a brain snap to think I could claim my scripts thru medicare but found out today I will save $100 by getting the lucrin thru a chemist as I will need 2 lots of it, so that's something!

JFB - well I just polished off Evie's choc easter bunnies (I will buy her more even though she won't eat it). Hope you feel a bit better.

Sonja - I wouldn't worry about contraception, if it happens it's meant to, what's one more . I always wanted 3 kids and was told by every psychic I went to that I would, waisted alot of money with them then.

C'mon JFB - fess up! How bad was the number??

I found with pregnancies 2 and 3 I did gain more as I just found it too hard to exercise or to eat properly - there's just too much going on to watch every little thing that goes in your mouth, and you are that much more tired I found I did use sugar to keep me going during the day.
