Nessika - that's great news re your HCG. Do you feel a bit more relaxed?

JFB hope you can cool down today.

kismet I never ate kiwi fruit through any 2WW. How much longer are you on DHEA?

Kel - from one mother of horribly unsettled babies to another .

Nessika - that's good it's gone up, have you got to have more bt's? I had to. I'm hoping to start early April, depends when AF arrives then I go on the pill. DD measured about 6weeks4days at 7 week scan but was right size for dates the rest of the way, but OB was worried she might be too big for me as I'm little and had gestational diabetes but she turned out a good size (2.8kg : 6.4pnds)...lucky for me coz I had run out of room.

Sonja - have only been on dhea a couple weeks now, will be another month or so before I start jabbing I think, probably not long enough but trying my chances. Still trying to wrap my head around it really, it's weird that I'm feeling so nervous going thru all that again, I shouldn't be cos I was so use to it before. Definately only want one embryo transferred this time(if I even get that), not wanting to risk twinnies, almost got that last time. Bumped into someone I know the other day that has just had identical twins, she now has 4 boys, and also met a woman that had identical boy triplets....good lord! They were all natural conceptions but don't want it to brush off on me

JFB - was wondering what your AMH was before you got utd this time, was it tested?

    Hi All,

Kismet - Thanks for the info, i've been very worried. I am on crinone twice a day and have had no more spotting since Weds 15dpo. HCG was not the highest 160 at 16dpo and prog was 23, but I am staying positive another BT on Thurs so hoping everything is increasing as it should.

Ness - How are you going?

gee what a dork..on bh on a staurday night....least h went to sleep without a

kismet: wasmt tested, but it must have been definately lower than 2009's reading of 4.0 (and that was after 2 months of dhea which could have raised it)...2009 got 5 eggs on 300 dose, 2011 3 eggs on 400...! so youve got a got result i reckon for a 42yo!!!

nesskia : maybe u are someone who just has low hcg if u have had a successful pg with low levels b4 so i think thats a positive sign.

lg: im sure my mate had a hcg of that level at 16dpo and she has a DS now (ivf too).

Kismet my DD was 2.85kg except I am tall So did you do a dble transfer last time? This is my first time doing a double but I'm assuming having v low hcg levs. that I'm not carrying twins. We would really prefer 1 healthy child too.
I understand you feeling nervous - Do you have low amh? Mine was 1 pre DD. I got my BFP from her with 1 egg @ retrieval but although 2 yrs older now Saizen got me 3 fert eggs, I know you've had a lot of cycles just wondering if you had tried hcg? I recently read pineapple juice is good for 2WW & keeping feet warm.

Sonja Thanks I'm being cautiously optimistic - not long until DS 1st bthdy for you - when do your babes become settled? My 1 is still waking up for cuddles.

JFB We would hardly expect you to be partying on a Sat night in your condition, I was probably already in bed

LG for Thurs b/t! it's horrible when your wonderful news is clouded with doubt.

Welcome Nessika. Sounds to me lime you just have low hcg levels if that's how your first preg was. Funny thing is you will prob be really low risk for downs as high hcg is one of the factors. All my bfps have been really high numbers and most high risk for downs.

Sonja. I had to laugh at Nessika asking about when your babies settled. Prob not the best person to ask. Lol. Cannot believe Marc is almost one. I can remember when we had coffee and Scarlett was only about 4-5 months old

Kismet and Nessie. Goodluck beautiful ladies on you're upcoming cycles. I hope you both share your next preg journey together

JFB. Single figured, my lord! Are you misserable yet? God I found late preg and a toddler, and work , etc, almost unbearable. Hopefully you are coping better

Hi to everyone else, and welcome to the newbies too

Well we are still at the mother baby unit. Henry has had some good days and some really really bad days. I'm just grateful I'm here and have the help. It's hard being away from Ruby, but she comes in every second day and she loves seeing Henry and giving him kisses. Still most mothers in here have babies with reflux and we all seem to end up on anti-depressants! Henry was 8 weeks on Saturday, so time certainly flies

Thanks for all your kind wishes xx

Nessika - I had 2 transferred and at scan had 2 sacs, one was DD and the other was empty, so I was definately surprised hcg started off so low bcs apparently empty sacs can give off hcg levels too. When my hcg level got to about 4000 it slowed up which made me panic, then it surged 11000 after that, my bloods were being taken every 2 or 3 days. After that I didn't want to do them anymore bcs I got too stressed out. FS reckoned the surge was when the non viable sac started to shrink and dissolve. I told FS I was really worried I'd lose the pregnancy due to the level being so low in the beginning but he said no not at all, everyone is different & he sees this kind of thing all the time, so it seems the FN's were worrying me & being overly cautious cos they tend to look at graphs of how it technically should be, but I know they use them for a reason too.
I just had amh done and it was 5.9, pretty good & normal for my age. I was actually pretty proud of that cos I know people like yourself have got pregnant with less than that, who knows if they're good quality though, didn't have great fert results before, took along time to get that perfect one. Is saizen human growth hormone? FS suggested growth hormone at our discussion but I can not afford it. I'm going with low dose pregnyl shots with fsh, that's what we did in my cycle DD came from.

LG - I was told 2 pessaries a day would be enough and my level was higher than yours, but I chose to do an extra one then I was told to cut back then when the bt showed it was dropping I increased it to 2 pessaries in the am, one crinone middle of day and 2 pessaries in the pm...was gross but didn't care. Kept this up until scan and dropped back to 2 crinone until 12 weeks. you have a good result Thursday.

JFB - well I'm a dork most Sat nights cos I'm usually on the puter, but I got a dvd out for a change last night. I will be doing 350 fsh unless FS changes his mind after seeing my results. I must say I'm quietly confident I will get some eggs now but as just said, no idea what quality will be like.

BK - you will win the battle.

BK: LOL..its 2.30am, yep i cant sleep, i have a basketball pushing my lungs apart and feel like an iron lung might actually be a good maternity leave present...i hate whinging especially when ppl in the ttc have to endure (sorry nessie, kismet, alittle) it but u do kinda forget that late pg reallllllllllllllllly sucks...and with a toddler, makes u appreciate the "rest" u could get in pg #1 . and i ahve thought on more than one occasion "god why didnt i ahve kids when i was 25"... im like some old decripit cat lady shuffling around a nursing home. i mean i remember the cankles with H but not this crushing bowling ball sensation...makes me start to think this will be a boy and will be BIG....you and the poor mums of the reflux babies there ..my BFF also ended up on anti-d about 6 weeks after DS was born due to PND and he was a reflux baby too,+ she had low supply and her ds kept losing weight but the BF nazi's told her he would be fine.... i remember BF together and H would be quiet and her baby would be arching its back and screaming....i really cant imagine how hard it must be..i was spoilt with H he was an "easy" baby mostly..hope u are at least getting some rest.

Thanks JFB. I must also add that Henry is still thriving, is about 6.6kgs and a gorgeous, chubby little Elmer Fudd. So although reflux is pretty torturous in the first 3 to 4 months we do know it will get better and still wouldn't swap him for all the world. The lovely thing that has come out of this is the closeness that DH and Ruby have developed. Finally she is his 'favorite person' and he's loving it

    Hi All,

Kismet - My FS was not really encouraging about Crinone twice a day, she said just keep to once a day still, when I suggested twice a day she said its very expensive and I dont want you to waste money on something that may have no effect at all!! I just said I'm not worried about the cost!! I have had no more spotting since last weds which was actually day before BT so I am hoping thats a good sign.

I'm hoping Thurs shows icreases so that I can relax a bit, this is more stressful than the TWW!!

JFB - Thanks for the info it all helps to keep me positive.
