    Hi again

I just want to say thank you so much! It did make me feel a bit better reading your words of comfort & encouragement. You are all amazing survivors & it does give me courage to move forward in the future knowing that I'm not alone and seeing the examples of the strength & determination you've all shown really blows me away - shamefully I think of giving up sometimes. I'll have a little break to recover & will be back. Massive dose of to those that are in or about to start new cycles too. to all the sleep deprived Mums doing their best & to the beautiful glowing & growing UTD ladies - look forward to catching up soon. Ness xo

Kismet Good luck! Always exciting to be proactive about making your dream come true. Do you do an antagonist or long down cycle when using low dose pregnyl?

Also I wanted to ask how much importance ppl place on TCM & acupunture for a BFP, I'm beginning to wonder whether I'm wasting my time & money with this.

good luck kismet cant wait to see how u go. enjoy the hormones.

nesskia: personally i dont reckon all the TCM and acupuncture did much for me and my issues..like i did it right from the start and it made no difference really..it wasnt until they got my medical protocol right (antagonist) and drugs (relatively high doses and DHEA) did i see bfp action....i think the literature does indicate that doing acupunture b4 a xfer is helpful for implantation but in so far as anything beyond that being "proven" im not sure...i mean it made me feel better and made me feel like i was doing everything i could but i dont think it actually got me my bfp's....

    Hi girls

Kismet - Woooooooooo hoooooooooooooooooooo soooooooooo excited for you......looking forward to riding the rollercoaster with you to the BFP destination..

Nessika - I swear by acu.....i got better quality eggs that i did without acu...and it helped me to feel like i had some control over what was happening. When i got preggers with Kade i did acu for months before my cycle even started and also ate kiwi fruit.......i was up for anything that may have helped.

Hi to everyone, hope you have a great day

Kismet wooo hoooo!! It's all happening. Will have everything crossed for you.

Nessika I loved my acupuncture appointments as they really helped me to relax through IVF treatments. I didn't worry about Chinese herbs but definitely think acupuncture helped me.

Well my little boy turned 1 yesterday. We had a lovely BBQ at the beach with friends and a swim after which was great on a 40 degree day. He's fully weaned now (no bf since Thursday 4am) and I've given all my maternity bras away . It's a nice feeling to have the baby days behind me.

    Kismet! Yay!

Nessika - I always found it hard trying to stay positive after a set back. It is exhausting. Take your time and continue when you feel up to it. As for Acupuncture I think you should do whatever you feel happiest with. We have so little control over so many aspects of TTC that I think it's important where you can to do whatever YOU want!

AFM - I had my 40th last night! A great night with lots of my musically talented friends performing. I used it as an opportunity to show off my beautiful bump, I put a photo in my profile if anyone wants to look at my 25 week belly!

Sonja Happy first birthday to your DS! Have fun with some sexier lingerie too.

FionaA 40th! What a special way to celebrate! You look beautiful btw.

Sounds like I'll have to keep up with the acu. even if it helps a little.
