now that we have medical insurance where do we start getting my son looked at figured it would be easier to start fresh here with a dr and have him looked fresh here, so what do we do?

First go to a GP and get a referral to a Paediatrician then get the Paed to organise any other referrals and go from there. Good luck!

I don't think health insurance here covers Pediatrician appointment's unless your child is an inpatient. What sort of insurance do you have? Did you take it out here or in the USA?

They but us on insurance here medicare or something should we get different insurance?
If you want to see a Pediatrician under the public hospital system (medicare) you will be in for a very long wait. You will find it hard to find a bulk billing pediatrician. The quickest way would be to pay for a pediatrician you might get a little amount of it back from medicare. I think my friend payed about $400 and got about $120 back.
As SAB said go see your GP.

Yep, public is a long wait.
You can go private as CJ said and get a portion back from medicare with your receipt.
It was worth it for us. DS got seen within a week and referred to a public program which was excellent and has taken care of everything.
