Glucose Challenge test results

Hi,

I did my glucose challenge test this week and have been told I need to get the 2hr test done as my results were a bit high. Does anyone know what the cut offs are, my result was 8.1. Also, about 45mins before my test I had a toasted sandwhich and a banana, does anyone know if this could have effected my results?

The cut off, I believe, is 7.0.

No, the food wouldn't have affected your result. The GTT you need to do now you have to fast over night for so is a real show of how well your body processes glucose.
