I get the 1,2,3 countdown, mummy I don't have three hands and mummy I told you you need to listen to me. It does make me laugh, sometimes.

DS doesn't really repeat any words, jst the tone. I say 'Beeeen' and he goes 'muuuuum'

My cousin in laws 4 yr old daughter told her 'oh mum, go to your room, your doing my head in' cheeky but so funny!!!

Hehe funny what some of the children are saying back to us.

Can't really think of anything my son is getting from me, but he is getting stuff from daycare. Eg 'stop I don't like it", "sshh my friends are sleeping", then if I'm not looking at him and listening he'll come up to me and either get in my face or use his hands to look at me

Hayden is 2, and repeats every single thing we say. Some of the very common ones are

"SIT.. DOWN.. NOW.." Said whilst pointing where he wants you to sit and with a very stern face

"EAT.. YOUR.. DINNER.." said in exactly the same tone. Lol

But as I said, it's everything, even long sentences. So freakin cute, but have to be so careful what we say!

My son is 3.5 and I often get told 'that is not acceptable mumma' or 1,2,3 ummah time out you go..this is said in relation to him not getting what he wants quick enough or getting told no he cant have/do something. Although because his speech is delayed somewhat he cant say the big words clearly it sounds so cute.

    Default Right back at ya!

I get told I'm silly all the time and he has started saying "oh my god!" Lol

Worst was the other week I'm usually very cautious with my swearing when he is around but the night before one of my cats wanted its dinner and flew out sending me flying and I hit the deck! I cracked it and said "F-ing Cats!" Didn't think he had heard next day he was telling the cat off for trying to steal his lunch and guess what he said.... Oops! Darn kids never listen when you want them too Lol
I just sat him down told him mummy was naughty using that word and it is a grown up word and he isn't to use it. He hasn't since thankfully!

Ds2 heard someone say ''awe s**t'' a little while ago. It's taking time to stop that one.

If I'm concentrating on something other than him I get ''mummy, I'm talking to you! You need to listen!''

I'd been ranting about DS's behavior one afternoon to DF while I thought he was out of earshot. I discovered how wrong I was when DS informed me 'Mummy you're really giving me the $hits today.'

Lol that reminds me of my cousins little girl when she was 2 was acting up and her mum wouldn't let her do something and she shot back at her " Mummy you're really starting to p!ss me off!" Lol

I get "I don't think so Mummy", from 3 year old DS all the time. The other one I get a lot is, "Mummy, can you hear me?", or "Mummy, you are not listening to my words", said in an indignant tone.

However, we get a lot of things repeated back at us.
