Ours is $60 for about three. But if it took her less time I'd still pay her that... It's all about results for me!

I used to, but she didn't do things on the list I left, but would do things that weren't on the list.

I work part-time, and I work 3 days a week now instead of 2. Once our renovations are finished, I will probably get another one as I am getting paid a lot more than I expected for only one extra day of work, so it will be within our budget.

All the quotes I recieved were for $30-$35 per hour (agency). How do I find a private cleaner for around $20 per hour? (Mebourne)

I work 3 days a week (but got the cleaner when I was still pregnant and then a SAHM).

She comes fortnightly, cleans the floors and bathrooms and whatever other smallish jobs I ask her to do, costs $50 and does about 2.5 hours work.

    Can't recommend it highly enough

We are in Melbourne. We found ours through a flyer in our letterbox but you can try gum tree as well.

I work 3 days a week and have a cleaner weekly for 2hrs and it's $60 for the 2hrs. She vacuums, mops, dusts, changes the beds and towels, cleans the bathrooms and the kitchen. If I leave a note to change anything she'll do whatever is left. My health didn't allow me to do it very well so it's been a blessing.

$60 a fortnight for 3 hours. It's not enough. Our house is quite big and I don't think it gets a really thorough clean in that time. I might increase it to 4 hours
I could really do with once a week an twice a week would be great!!!
One day later you wouldn't believe we'd had a cleaner in.. My children are very talented at "trashing".
I'm a SAHM and starting one day of uni (from home) next week.
My DH works massive hours though so I do everything.

We have had letter box drops advertising their services, all were 15-20 an hour.

My DH is also the one who was talking to the kindy Mums about it.. embarrassing. So I guess word of the mouth is good as well, as I might go with one another Mum uses who she says is really good at cleaning her house.

I tried on gumtree a while ago and didn't see any. I think word of mouth would be the easiest. Do you have a mothers group or kids at school who you could ask? You could also place an add in the paper yourself asking for cleaners and then trial some?

We have a cleaner starting in 2 weeks who will be coming fortnightly for about 2 hours and will cost about $60. I work 3 or 4 days a week.
