Question pregnant + working as a process worker?

I'm desperately looking for work and am 6 weeks pregnant.
I found a casual position as a process worker in a chicken factory, I'm not exactly sure of the details of the job but they don't require any experience..
At this point I'll apply for ANYTHING.

Anyone know if working in a process factory is ok when pregnant? I can't seem to find anything when I google about it..

I don't know if its safe, but working with freshly dead chickens would creep me out. Good luck

I think it would be okay as long as you wear gloves or remember to wash your hands well. You'll also have to make sure you don't need to do any heavy lifting. When I went for a job as a process worker I had to do a test to get passed for lifting up to a certain weight.
Good luck with finding the right job for your pregnancy though!
