    Default Mum of 1 in Darwin

    Hi, I am a newbie here and looking to meet some mums in Darwin. I moved to Darwin last year with my partner and 20 mth old daughter. I have no family here and do not know many ppl so it would be nice to join a mothers group or just have coffee with another adult!
    I can't seem to find any mums groups in Darwin though on Fb or on here?

    Welcome! I went to pm you but u dont have enough posts yet Darwin Mums Meet is a friendly group of mothers a lot of them meet up every week. I live in Darwin and have a 6 month old son but I dont have my license so I dont go out much lol ( I hate public transport up here when ive got a pram!) Welcome again

    Default I'm New to Darwin Too

    Hi there Casey R & Purple Lily,

    I'm also new to Darwin, moved here just a few weeks ago. I have a 5month old baby girl.

    Would be great to meet other mums

    I'm in Darwin too, Darwin mums meet is a facebook page there are loads of mums on there, depending on where you are their are heaps of good playgroups, the fun bus ect

    Welcome to darwin newbies!! I have called darwin home for 16 years (apart from a brief 18months in Sydney) I hope this torrential rain isnt causing anyone too much grief!

    I have a 19month DS, and work fulltime. Bubble no2. is arriving in October. I had DS in Sydney, and when we relocated back here had already commenced working fulltime so I am nervous about being on mat leave with DS and a newbie when the time comes up here!

    Not that I have done any of yet but the local libraries and councils organise some morhter groups, baby activities (dont know how outdoorsy they are in the wet season) and I have the mothers group on my fb.. I am hoping to be more involved when I finish work... hopefully some of the bhers will still be around then
