Oh no Crunchie!

Mine has been fighting with me for 2 hours, yelling and carrying on. She thought it was the weekend lol. While I was being yelled at, the wheelie bin truck came past, so the kitten took it out on the dog who was running away barking and whimpering. I yelled "enough! All of you!" Now they are all eating breakfast. Coffee time for me. Great start to the day.

Arggg she is in top form today, she somehow managed to climb in the table ( don't know how as all the chairs are taken away....??????) and got to the laptop, opened it and picked out all the tabs.... God I love her tenacity but give me a break... Play with all your toys not the table and laptop!!!!!! Hope your day improves Share a Book!

DD is currently sporting two black eyes and a lump on her forehead after a hall table that she was trying to climb fell on her. My mothers guilt is in absolute overdrive every time I see her sore little face. We think she was trying to get the 'meow meow' statue down. Mum fail

Well, I was kicked, punched, scratched, bitten, hair pulled, the aide was kicked and narrowly avoided being bitten, but the school run is over.

It might not seem like it from someone with a school kid, but my spirited 8yo was once a spirited toddler, so I really get it. The doors and windows have had to stay securely locked and still do!

Hi everyone :waves:

Ive come into this thread late and I'm off to work so no time to read now but I love the idea and thought I'd say hi.

I have a 22 month old 'spirited' DD. she's hyper active and has the memory of a gold fish

everything distracts her and she's very strong willed. She's super smart too & I'm yet to decide if that's a blessing or a curse.

She's a running jumping climbing falling rascal who also has the impression she can swim. We do swimming lessons but she never does as she's told and constantly trying to squirm away from me. She's FINALLY learn to swim with floaties on so atleast I can let her go for a bit now.

She never sits still. Never lies still. Any lunch out has to be at the park where she can run away.

Anyone familiar with Oppositional Defiance Disorder? Does your child have it?
Can you tell me what it means for your child? I'm wondering if DS has it... although he doesn't fit the genetic history or family disfunction or criminal father or too much control or not enough control, he does fit many of the signs

Mine was tested for that, has lots of signs but doesn't have it.

My mum bought dd a latte today

May I ask why they decided she doesnt have it Share a book?

My friend was letting her toddler share her PINK FROZEN FANTA the other day and if course my DS wanted some and my friend seemed surprised that I said no way. Uhh he is yet to have anything red and yet to have soft drink - he is only 2 - and I would need a padded cell for him if he had some!

They decided she has ASD, anxiety and ADHD, so that explains her other signs.

My mum thought it was funny to give her s latte and give her back to me. Not happy.

Today I picked DD up from family day care ( i knew she was in a mood when i dropped her) and her carer just said she was fine but was naughty at times, wouldn't listen and wanted to do things her own way. Carer wasn't complaining and she was saying one of the other children used to be like DD but now he's great listens etc... I felt so angry at myself, I don't know how to communicate with my child, I just want her to be normal, I feel like a total and utter failure again. I feel like I don't want to inflict her behaviour on anyone else. I love her but I want a break from always worrying about her behaviour .
