Just wondering if anyone is comfortable sharing the companies they used?
Am looking at moving from Central Coast NSW to Perth at the end of the year and so far have received astronomical quotes!

My husband is in the industry.

If you want any advice on companies to avoid etc ( even a quote. Lol) pm me.

I'm not keen to post further details here for privacy :-)

And OMG at the $20000 job! That is just insane!

Really?! We got three quotes and took the middle one. They were all between $19,000 and $23,000. We do have a lot of stuff over 70 squares, it was 2 full large containers and they were worried that they wouldn't fit it all. Also included the car on a separate transporter, and 3 motorbikes picked up and boxed separately. Also $120,000 insurance.

We were really happy with the service and would move with them again. Or will I should say, we are moving again in January.

Ive moved interstate 4 times now and can honestly say backloading is so much cheaper. Just take neccessities with you in the car/plane.

I think the person who gave harvestmoon a website was me. I don't have that computer here atm but I think it was either http://discountbackloading.com.au/ or http://comparequotes.com.au/
