Default Anterior placenta.. Am I crazy??

So I'm almost 19 weeks with my first little bubba and my placenta is anterior (as shown on scan at 13 weeks). I was told this means I probably wont feel much for a while but for a few weeks I've been having occasional fluttering feelings, and a couple of times some very weird and prolonged feelings of movement. In the last couple of days, only late in the afternoon I swear I am feeling consistent little kicks.. They feel like something is poking my belly a couple of cm under my belly button quite a few times in a row.

I feel like I'm going mad... Is it possible these feelings are what I think they are? I've felt wind and felt my guts moving around and this all feels different...

Mines anterior and I felt kicks from early on. Definite unmistakable kicks by 19-20 weeks. So not crazy if your feeling them I'd say your feeling them.

Hi. I also have an anterior placenta and still feeling movement.(Have done from about week 14, second bub) I'm nearly 18 weeks and they are getting more and more frequent and stronger every day.
So yeah, what you're experiencing sounds like baby moving

I was feeling flutters from 13 weeks, and definite kicks from 18 weeks and I didn't even realize that I had an anterior placenta until my 20 week scan.

I think it really depends on many factors including your BMI etc, so nope...you're not crazy at all!

Enjoy those feelings, it's truly amazing to feel your little bubba move

I had an anterior placenta with my first and could feel movement even from 15.5 weeks.

No, not crazy! Sounds like baby moving to me. I had an anterior placenta with my first and honestly wasn't confident I was feeling movement until 22 weeks. With my second the placenta was posterior and I was feeling definitely movements from 15 weeks, and strong movements by 18 weeks. This 3rd time I'm now 21.5weeks and although I did feel some movement at 15ish weeks it was very gentle and infrequent so I suspected an anterior placenta again which was confirmed at my 20week scan. Those kicks are getting stronger every day though and definitely could clearly feel them by 20weeks. I think it might also depend on bubs position as well as exact position of the placenta (high, low, mid etc).

I am exactly the same! Felt flutters at around 14 weeks, hubby & I BOTH felt massive kicks at 18weeks & it wasn't until my 20week scan that I knew I had an Anterior Placenta! Midwives said mine is lying relativity low- but not so low that it's dangerous!
