I am usually very easy going with what my son eats and often find myself thinking that posts like this are OTT, but in this case I have to agree with the others.

Macca's once and a while, with my prior consent, would be fine but definately not weekly and especially three times a week.

I do not think that taking children there to play three times a week is a good idea either as the play equipment is limited and there is no room for them to run around.

Absolutely I would be upset! I get macdonalds for dd too much myself do I'd be upset if FDC mum was giving it to her that often! 3 times a week!
If it was a special occasion like a bday or movies or emergency etc I would be ok but I would also prefer prior consent as well

    Lmao horse carrot

Yes it would bother me and as someone who does fdc I am suprised she can get away with it! I would hate the waste of food when the lunch I packed is not eaten as well as the fact that a child does not need to be eating that type of food so often. I also know that the parent would have had to sign an excursion form to say she could go so maybe that is something she could mention to her ie she is not happy with the frequency and would like to withdraw permission for this particular excursion. The problem with a lot of parks is that they are not deemed safe enough from a fdc point of view so it can get difficult.

That's insane! I would definitely be saying something! Maybe the carer does it so the kids can run around and entertain themselves while she uses the free wifi

Are you having us on, OP?
If the FDC carer is paying for lunch, then tell your friend to stop supplying anything! Other than the mandatory horse carrot

I really don't like Macca's with all it's marketing little plastic toys to kids and this would be a downright transgression in my book. I want to avoid the place as much as I can, and IF we go there, I want to at least be with my child to guide his food choices and deal with the sugarrush aftermath!
