OMG Lemonhead I have no words to describe how insensitive some people are!

AFM I hate being served at a shop with "are you right?" Or "are you right there?" Someone please get the grater and grate my ears off! What bugs me is even some store managers say it too! Sometimes I say "of course! I'm the customer, I'm always right... but at the moment I would like some service?"

"brought" when it should be "bought"

And "where are you from?" which I'm honestly just sick of answering...

I hate this question as well, but my childless by choice friends seem a lot more sensitive than those with kids. They don't assume everyone wants kids so they don't ask the question like that. I've found those with kids were the rudest while I was having trouble conceiving, and then when I got pregnant with their "haha your life is now going to be sh*t" BS which I am still getting. It's like people can't stand you being excited about something and have to put a downer on it. My childless friends are excited for me and have been lovely

Actually no - I'm just as much a human being deserving of respect and dignity the day I'm birthing a baby as I do any other day.

To use last week as an example, I got a:

Oh, TWO boys! You poor thing

    and
    a

Boys, hey? You really need to get yourself one of these (motioning to female baby)

    and finally a

Would you risk having a third and getting ANOTHER boy? Oh God, imagine that!

It fascinates and infuriates me that people are so obsessed with gender.
It concerns me that people discuss boys as if they are somehow broken and need fixing. Ugh! It just makes my blood boil.

There really are some people who are walking around without a brain, a heart and a soul. How they get through their days is beyond me.

Latest annoying thing - "How longer are you going to breastfeed for?" I swear about half a dozen people have asked me this in the last week Or "Surely it's time to start weaning?"

WHY are people so concerned with what I'm feeding my baby?!
