Not just naive but entirely lacking in compassion and empathy. You're right though - they are the one to be pitied for their cluelessness.

Really annoys me that the MIL and DP make me feel guilty about not introducing hot spicey foods to my DD. Ive tried and she wont touch currys so get off my back and I'll feed her what she is actually going to eat.

Not to mention the MIL is a vegitarian so she makes me feel guilty about eating meat. Not like I make comments about her not eating meat. So again MIL leave us alone. sheesh lol

"It was in the last place I looked!". Of course it was, you stop looking when you find it.
"I would like to thank..." Instead of liking to thank somebody, why don't you just thank them?

Either 'i mean this in the nicest possible way' 'i dont want to sound mean but' or 'you cant handle the kids you have, you wouldnt cope with a 3rd'

The first 2, obviously your being a b itch so dont try and make yourself feel better and the last one, last I checked, my kids are happy, healthy and well looked after. Yup I get stressed some days, as im sure all mothers do, so shut up and let me make my own decisions about my family and.stop putting me down!

Sorry dear, that doesnt make them autistic, that just makes them an idiot, and the two have nothing to do with each other.

This made me laugh!! I completely understand where you are coming from!!

At work when people start a sentence with "I need" or "could you just". How about "may I please have" or "could you please"??!!!

Or, when people ask other people about when they're going to have kids / have another. They're probably one of those lucky people who never had a problem conceiving/carrying, or are childless (by choice)!

An old boss of mine used to say every 5 mins ' no one said it would be easy'.. Grrr, this annoyed me no end!!

Oh & everyone telling me to stop stressing cause I dont need it, when my dh & ds are constantly fighting, dh wants to walk out, ds tries to run away, I have 3 other kids 20mths & under & I'm 18wks pregnant.. I KNOW I dont need the stress, but come walk in my shoes for a day before pointing out the obvious, idiot!!
