    I think I'm the same

Before dd I never really wore make up. Occasionally sprayed perfume. Washed my hair and brushed and just pony tail every day. I get my hair done every 6-8 weeks. Monthly facials and massages, Manis and pedis. Shave legs 3-7 days depending.

Now I still rarely ware make up. Perfume is more daily. Hair is the same. I get more massages but health reasons stop me plus I'm really busy. I regularly get legs waxed now. I chose to not wash hair daily but it's just pony tail. The only thing I've charged is less frequent mani and pedis and facials but I think that more time factor and money

Not that much has changed tbh. Before kids I never wore makeup or fancy clothes, only shaved when i could be arsed (could have been every few weeks) only ever brushed my hair - never did anything with it.Post kids I still don't wear makeup, but I guess some of my current clothes are a bit nicer - I'm afraid of being judged by other mums - yet don't look as good because I'm fat now, I straighten my hair a lot because it's frizzy now where before kids it was straight, still only shave when I can be arsed.Overall I probably take more care in my appearance than before because I'm more afraid sod being judged as a mother based on my appearance, before I didn't give a toss.

Do you still shave/wax your legs as soon as they start getting hairy?

Yes - probably every second day.

Do you make yourself look good every time you leave the house?

I try to most times. I never leave the house without doing 'something' with my hair (even if it's just a ponytail) and I always wear make-up when I go out of the house.

    Do you wear perfume?

    Yes, every day.

Do you have your hair done and make an effort with your appearance

I have my hair done at the hairdresser (colour and trim and blowdry/ style) once every 4-5 weeks. I don't do too much in the way of styling between times, as I'm terrible at it. My hair is naturally quite wavy, and can be left alone without looking too bad though.

Do you like what you see when you look in the mirror?

No, some parts, but not most.

I'm sure you probably look way better than you think you do. We are all our own worst critics.

I don't like my weight. I'm not classed as overweight but I'm happier 5kg less than I am now. I do feel tired all the time, and I often feel frumpy. Because I'm not happy with my weight I cover it up with baggy clothes, which I know makes everything look worse. When I lose a bit of weight I feel more confident and smarter.

I love winter dressing! I feel like it's easy to look smart in the winter - jeans, boots, scarves, etc. In the summer I feel really daggy and never know what to wear.

I definitely don't think I have let myself go, and my weight is the same as it was pre-DD - I just feel bigger...

Don't be so hard on yourself. I'm 23 and feel a lot of pressure to be thin and sexy and glowing all the time but since having two kids I really just have let it go in many ways. I have lost a lot of weight by accident since having my daughter but i still am very soft in the middle. Not overly toned or muscular. I eat healthy because my family eats healthy but I also often forget to eat entirely. And then late at night am starving and eat a pack of tim tams! I wish I could find the motivation to look after myself but it feels like why bother.. Nobody is looking.. Iykwim. I brush my hair and put it in a pony tail every day. I make a weak effort to shave every few days. I feel so far from hot its not funny. I wonder if people ever think "god that woman needs a day to herself" but nobody has ever offered!! Not even my mum. I think in a few years when my life has more routine, perhaps when I am working again, have finished studying and the kids play on their own more I might take more care again. Right now it just seems everything comes before me

Deoderant not perfume, legs only get shaved when i need to wear shorts and now ive lost a large ammount of weight my clothes are nicer than what they were, but im still casual, pants/jeans and a neat tshirt. Or a casual summer dress when its hot.

Ive never felt the need to look pristine.

Do you still shave/wax your legs as soon as they start getting hairy?
    - I shave every other week when my husband is home

Do you make yourself look good every time you leave the house?
    - Try to but doesn't always happen. Sometimes it is get dressed, hair in ponytail, no makeup & deoderant & run out the door.

    Do you wear perfume?
    - Most of the time.

Do you have your hair done and make an effort with your appearance?
    - I have my hair cut and coloured every 2 months.

Do you like what you see when you look in the mirror?
    - Yeah its OK.

Not that much has changed from before kids to now. Same routine just a lot more condensed down now as we have to get the kids ready for school.

If i have an option of 15 minutes more sleep or straightening my hair I will always take 15 minutes more of sleep andput my hair in a pony tail.

Do you still shave/wax your legs as soon as they start getting hairy?
I shave once a week in winter and twice a week in summer. But I'm getting a bit too pregnant to shave easily so hubby helps. I live in skirts so need to shave especially below knees.

Do you make yourself look good every time you leave the house?
Every morning I put on my face ie powder foundation, eyeliner, mascara and earrings other than just for the gym. For work/going out with girls/dinner I put my full face on- liquid foundation, eyeshadow/bronzer etc

    Do you wear perfume?
I have different ones for daily use, work, social and special occ

Do you have your hair done and make an effort with your appearance?
I am slack with cutting my hair usually every 4 mths and I dont colour it at all. But I will do my makeup and hair (either combed and tidied into an upstyle and fringe straightened daily - straightened fully when going out weather permitting)

I also will try and co-ordinate my clothes and accessories so that they work well together.

Do you like what you see when you look in the mirror?
I am heavier than I used to be pre DH but thinner than I was last year post DD even tho I'm 6mths pregnant. Its ok but I have looked better.

Do you still shave/wax your legs as soon as they start getting hairy?

Only if I want to wear shorts... Don't wear skirts anymore, not practical running after a 10 month old..

Do you make yourself look good every time you leave the house?

Nope. I always put a bra on though. I've been known to dash down to the supermarket in my pj pants...

    Do you wear perfume?

    Most days

Do you have your hair done and make an effort with your appearance?

I haven't had my hair done since the week of my wedding. Our first anniversary is today. Mostly that's because we can't afford it.

Do you like what you see when you look in the mirror?

    Im happy enough

    Or, are you like me???

Well, before I got pregnant this time id shower & dress to go out most days (which is still pretty casual). Since dealing with all the first trimester joys I've been a lot lazier. I straightened my hair for a wedding last weekend, but prior to that I don't remember the last time I straightened it... If its down it usually gets pulled by ds anyway so it goes in a pony tail.

I wish we had the money for me to get my hair done but it's not that important so I just let it slide. If we go out for dinner or something I will put on a dressy top, but usually still with jeans & thongs or sandals.

I rarely wore make up before ds and don't think I even own any now...
