I've been following this thread, and I'm a bit confused as to what people are confused about...

Forgive me if I'm being slow, but what I've got from this thread (and the other ones that are linked) is:

Alimia is pro-vax, and was confused about why there was a higher % of non-vaxxed kids at daycare.

She thought there would be more, or that the daycare centre would make it mandatory.

She's not judging the non-vaxxers, but from a personal stance would prefer it if kids had to be vaxxed when at daycare.

    Her husband is a paediatrician.

She works as a paediatrician's specialist.

    I don't see any contradictions?

Again I'm sorry if I sound like a pro vax nazi. Again, the PP asked if we thought her reasons were valid and I answered. Just because a random GP says it is ok to not vax still does not mean the reason is valid. Recurrent ear infections are NOT a reason to delay or not vax. Period.
    I'll bow out now.

That's your opinion, as someone who has never given him a medical examination to determine whether it's wise to vaccinate him or not.

To me her comments across all threads seemed coherent and authentic. I'm not really trying to argue one viewpoint or another on the vaxxing front at the moment.

It seems to me that the OP may have come here after support along the lines of "Yes, I was worried too but my kids have never caught anything" or "Yes, my kids caught 20 vaccine preventable diseases in the first week" rather than trying to start any fights about whether or not to vax.
Yes, dd was classed as unvaxed even though she had some with the plan of catching up on others as she was able to.
