Default How much crinone gel can I give myself?

I've had 2 IVF cycles where AF arrived before the TWW was up. I have a feeling it may have something to do with my progesterone levels being too low.

Does anyone know how many times a day I can have the crinone gel? My fertility centre told me to use it twice daily but I want to try maybe 4 times a day, is this OK?

I think read recently that I can also use the gel up my backside (sorry, didn't know how else to explain it), did I read this correctly?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I'm in the same boat, we always have AF arrive before beta. Last cycle I was on 2x crinone twice daily (so 4 total) plus pregnyl support so it can be done.

Thanks, Kalliope. Did you do all 4 when you first started using it or started out with 2 then increased to 4? I'm on day 2 of crinone and just have 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening. I'm thinking of increasing it to 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening after ET.

Anyone else out there with advice? Surely Kalliope and I aren't the only ones to use crinone?

When I used Crinone it was only twice a day but I did use progesterone pessaries for my FET cycle and I was using those 4 times a day. I know you can insert the pessaries up the back passage but not sure about Crinone.

Ah, it's the pessaries that go there. Thanks for the clarification
