    Default Serola Pregnancy Belt

Just wondering if anyone has used a Serola Pregnancy Belt for back pain?

I'm 24 weeks. I was getting massive back pain - to the point I could not stand up properly! I went to the doctor who referred me to physio.

I felt heaps better after my first physio session... the physio said I have a unstable pelvis, which is causing my back pain... today she gave me a belt to wear - it basically sits in the middle of my bum and around the front under my belly... however, as soon as I put it on, bub starts moving like crazy and it's quite tight to sit down with...

I suppose i'm a little worried about the pressure on bub, especially if i'm in a sitting position...

Has anyone used these belts or know anything about them? I don't want to hurt my baby, so i'm very reluctant to wear it... it cost me $70!!

I'm no help, but I have pelvic instability too. I can't wear my belt either because of the same reasons. I carry my bubs quite low, and the way the belt digs in hurts.

But, I'm hoping someone else has a suggestion. Maybe there is another brand on the market with like the front section rounded to sit under bump.

Could you return your belt if you can't wear it?

I'm not sure if I can return it, the physio fit it for me and kept the packet... but i'm going to ring her in the morning and ask her what to do, because I want to do the right thing because I'm so sick of being in pain!! but I can't stand anything tight around my belly!!

How weird I got one of those today! Is it an issue with your SI joint? I'm 20 weeks and was also worried about it being too tight on bubs but was assured all was fine and couldn't hurt him/her.

Before I had the belt I was taped up so this is much easier. Although I worry it gives me a muffin top!! Only when I'm sitting though.

I'm going to stick with mine as it makes my back pain so much better. The exercises I am doing are stopping it from getting worse but not improving it.
