Yep we have just bought our first place and a decent size backyard was a must on our list. I say its decent but its probly pretty big compared to some as im used to living on 6+ acres so seams small to me haha

yep. whole block is 1/3 acre and the back yard takes up about half of that i guess? it's great for the dog.
the next few houses along all have the same layout as us too, and some of them have kids. it's brilliant.

this is 30 minutes out of brisbane city.

Yep, it's huge! We could have half the yard we have now and the kids would still have plenty of room. Our block is 600m and we have a 3 bedroom house on it.

Yes, we downsized our house, but got a decent sized yard. We have a huge pool and tennis court, gym etc in the complex.

Our yard has a covered outdoor patio with furniture, play equipment, paddling pool and enough room for the bouncy castle and to still run around.

We are on 740sqm block and have a good size back yard. DS has a good size cricket pitch, small shed, cubby and a strip of decking.
Our house is 34sq so that takes up
most of it. We also have a huge paved alfresco area that's full of toys, bikes etc. So awesome when it's raining.
