    Default How long to conceive?

    Hi all,
    My hubby and i have recently started ttc and just wondering how long it can take on average to become pregnant?

    its different for every couple. It took us 6 months with my first then we were barely trying (in fact barely even DTD ) with our second.

    I think if you are actively TTC and it hasnt happened in a year a trip to the doc could be in order.

    Dont stree about it...ENJOY IT!!!

    I have been reading horror stories about it taking years to get there i hope it doesn't take too long, Im so excited and its been so frustrating the last few months since nothing has happened.
    I think i might have been stressing about it too much...so hard not to though and just relax, its the tww that kills me as i can't seem to stop thinking about maybe being pregnant :s

    We are approaching 6 months TTC our first, frustrating that it hasn't happened yet but it's still early days I guess

    Thanks! Yes, well I told DP it could take up in 12 months, but I naively thought I'd be well and truly pregnant by the end of last year D'oh!

    Oh well, we'll keep trying till we get there!!

    I know how you feel, when we first tried i thought it would happen the first time LOL obviously silly me hehehe all we can do is keep hoping its next cycle my hubby seems more disappointed than me when it doesn't happen

    It can take a healthy couple up to 12 months to conceive so I wouldn't be too worried yet.

    I thought exactly the same thing!! We are in month 6 TTC, Hoping it happens sooner rather than later!! Hope we all get our BFPs soon!!

    I went off the pill and three months later fell pregnant.
