    Default Parenting Fail!!

What have you done that is a parenting fail?
Today I bought some goldfish. DS is 2 and loves feeding the fish when we go to nana and poppys house. Anyway during dinner, DS decided to feed them his dinner and drink! Tried hard to clean fish bowl and get them into clean water but they still died. Only 6 hours after we got them! So what's your parenting fail? In hindsight I really should have put the bowl higher but I wanted us to be able to enjoy them and they were supposed to go on new hall table tomorrow

Dressed my daughter in two different shoes to go to a doctor . They were also two left shoes doctor asked if she has always walked like that it's a bit worrying until we realized it was the shoes making the problem.
God good thing to do at the doctors!!!! They just laughed at me

I 'let' DD play with her child proof medicine bottle (3 days of sleeplessness tantrums, down the road from home, total meltdown in chemist = momentary lack of judgement/stamina)

She got the lid off (and had a swig before I'd noticed)

My one well earned parenting fail.

Cooked my kids hard boiled eggs bento box style (as in moulded them to the shapes of rabbits and cars). Two year old refused to eat his beloved car, instead opting to drive it around his tray, cracked the sads when I suggested it 'go into the tunnel' and it broke apart. Four year old ate hers but now is insisting she ate rabbit!

Oh I so get that - sometimes I hear myself saying eat those last three bits if corn or there is no treat tonight - then I think 'who am I kidding?' like the ten bits (and I literally mean 10 kernels) of corn that she has agreed to eat tonight can truly be considered 'vegetable intake' and as if whether she eats 7 or 10 will make a difference!
