Default Spin off, do you hate when people call baby 'it'.

As in, say you kept the sex a secret and when baby came some people accidentally call him/her 'it'. Especially people who don't have children.....do you realize they didn't mean it or do you get angry/upset?

No it doesn't bother me. It's quicker than saying he or she. Even I do it sometimes! Doesn't mean I don't adore my bub

    I wouldn't take it personally.

Haha cool. I did it by accident then the dad 'told me off' I said whoops sorry then accidentally DID IT AGAIN haha :-/ he pulled me up on it again so told him to settle down and don't take offense! Really annoyed me. Because he was acting like I was being rude on purpose! Baby was like a couple weeks old.

Which is why the English language needs more gender neutral terms
I have no problems with "it" but it does imply the it is an inanimate object, so I can see why someone might take offence... (but I don't think it's really worth taking offence over).

No, I'm not offended because I also say 'it'. Just cos I'm too lazy to say 'he or she' everytime.

Unless you don't know the gender of your baby I can't stand it when people call them "it". My brother done it once with ds1 and I pulled him up on it. A baby is a person, not a thing. But that's just my opinion.
