Default how to improve sperm quality

DH just got his results back they are not bad but could be better, dose anyone know of ways to improve the quality of sperm?
he has been running 10k nearly every day so he is stopping that but just not sure what else to do, our doc seems to think that ivf is going to be our best option but id like to do as much as we can before we go down that path.
    any help/suggestions would be great.

Maybe he is just exercising too much? I don't know if that is a problem for men but I know it is for women.

Does he do any weight training? What is his build? I am imagining a lean man with less then 10% body fat? If so maybe a little fat gain?

Has he had his testosterone levels tested?

    Does he drink or smoke?

Have you looked into cretin food groups to eat/avoid? I remember hearing Ginger was good (I think was along time ago sorry)

    Get him onto Menevit!

It helps to improve the quality and speed of sperm. I got my DH to start taking it 3 months before we started TTC.

My DH also had a sperm count on the lower side. Things we did to improve this included-
Swapping his tight undies to lose boxers
Menavit or Spermax tablet once a day
Stop smoking and cut down drinking alcohol
Also helps to limit caffeine to two serves a day
Worked for us, hope it helps!

My DH had a low sperm count. He took zinc tablets and vitamin c. Worked for us and he didn't need to switch to boxer shorts!

We saw a healer in Bali that said eating bean shoots / mung beans every day helps ... Worth a try!

I'm with FutureMa and Menevit it changed my DH's sperm count and quality within 4 months from memory it's great stuff. I did not like the Elevit but the Menevit I swear by as my DH's sperm was not good to start.

Zinc and magnesium are big mineral elements.

Reduce alcohol, smoking and stress from all forms (excessive exercise being one of them).

I wish you guys the best with it.

Here is what my dh takes prescribed by our FS and his count went from zero (yes, zero) to 100,000 in 3 months:

    20ml aloe Vera juice
    Handful of Goji berries
    Handful of pumpkin seeds
Zinc (but he takes menevit instead)
    Fish oil tablet
    Berocca

None of its pleasant especially the aloe but we swear by it and have a beautiful DD to show for it.
