I was meant to have my EPU this morning however at my scan last week my embies weren't growing as they should so I have to stay injecting a few more days! I went yesterday and everything was looking ok so im going again tomorrow so fingers crossed!!!!

I dont like injecting the antagonist! It leaves me with bruises!

Mrs Simmo, Thanks for that. I tried the valium and gas last time, I reacted bad to I think both of them together. And it didnt help with the pain at all. Apparently my overies were really swallan and sore. Doctor couldnt even get the probe in, I was in crazy pain. Hopefully the endone alone will be better. Start the pill today, pray I make it through epu this time, well I have to. This is my only chance, cant go back the QFG again. Very expensive. Can you feel the needle go in, I think its worse cause I do no what to expect. Had two transfers so far, but didnt work, its so emotional.

well just a quick update for everyone! My follicles are growing yay!!! and I have EPU on Friday!!!

I just read what some other ladies have said on here and I am literally ****ting myself! I read that it hurts and I know that it will be all worth it but I really dont want it to hurt a lot

For the ladies who have had EPU how would you describe the pain?

its a quick pinch just suck on the gas and breath in and out its hard really to explain the feeling and it does only hurt for a few mins but when you here then say how many eggs you have its worth it - a girl that went after me said she didnt feel much at all as she had all the drugs they offer see i couldnt this is why also it was bit harder for me

Love that last part, hehe I am so going to do that. Scan in the morning
Is it normal to have clear cervical mucus? I'm on to day 7 of my injections, possibly 4 more days left. And last night I had some clear cervical mucus
