Torrance is the name of a character in ... something. That's going to drive me crazy now!

Xanthe is in my top 3 too. If this one was a girl her name would be Evanthe(Evanthie) which is very close to Xanthe just a little more different.

Vallon and Kiya are two girls names I have always loved since I was a young girl. Kiya is an Egyptian name, a wife of a Pharaoh and I first fell in love with the name when I fell in love with Historical stories from Egypt, Rome and Greece.
Vallon was a variation on the Irish Gaelic name Fallon. I met a Fallon in my teens and always thought her name sounded beautiful, especially with her Irish accent! Then when I wanted to use it The Fall on this and Fall on that came out, so I tried to explain it sounded more like Vallon... and I guess I liked that name a little better.
All the boys names I liked I tried to use, so there weren't any that I didn't have the "balls" to use. I wanted Griffin, Kade and Cael. I nearly got Kade but DS just didn't look like a Kade. I had buckley's chance with the girl's names...

Thanks. I love that movie! I have a weird obsession with cheerleading movies. I can't believe I didn't remember that.

OMG I was going to post this EXACT same thing! When/ if I have a girl I'm still going to call her Lola; ideally her full name would be Lolita -- but it just seems like an invitation to middle-aged men to hit on her...
