I think everyone should name their babies from this thread -- there are some great ones floating around.

I've got my heart set on Risky or Silki if bump is a girl but both are absolutely vetoed .

My baby coming shortly will be called Evander which has met a mixed reception to say the least.

I also floated 'Hibiscus' for a girl but it was universally shot down, lol.

I love Evander (Deverry fan here), but fairly certain DH would say no (even if it's shortened to Evan).

I love the name Winston for a boy. I wanted to name DS2 this but DH said no way.

My dad's middle name is Winston. When I was at school, I had classmates fooled that it was my second middle name. Hence DS is B---- Taliesin Winston W----. His first name means 'black' and surname means 'White' and it all rolls off the tongue in a rhythmic and rhyming way.

I agree with a PP that more people could make use of this thread. There was a thread around a few days ago about the most common names at the moment, and some classes at schools apparently have 5 Jacks and 3 Avas in them (do love Ava, though, and no offense to Mums and Dads of Jacks). Some more difference in this world would be a good thing.
