Is she on the mini pill? After my DD1 was born I went on mini pill and bled for 4 months straight. dr thought retained placenta had surgery and found nothing and turns out I was 'allergic' so to speak of the mini pill. But she definately needs to see a dr as if it is placenta then infection would have set in by now.

Was 6 weeks for the other 2.

Definitely abnormal. I went 8 weeks after DD but had retained placenta- led to massive infection and needing surgery. It's unlikely retained placenta after a year- the infection you get from it is very painful and incapacitating. She needs a dr ASAP! Keep us posted!
