Default Mild spotting on and off!!! Help, please reassure me!

Hi, I need some reassurance ladies...

I'm 15 weeks pregnant with no.3. For the past 3 weeks I have been spotting rarely but on and off ...it's not red blood, it's old blood looking and is only there when I wipe after using the loo (sorry I know TMI) but yesterday I passed a little clot and had a bit of mild spotting again this morning (as in very small just discoloured loo paper is what I mean) I rang my GP last night and he assured me that everything is probably fine and that if I experience any cramping or pain to go to hospital stat! I havent had any cramping or pain at all. I've 3 healthy ultrasounds between 10 and 13.5 weeks and baby is all good and doing well. But I'm just sooooooo worried!

I had undiagnosed complete placenta previa with my first pregnancy....

Yes, I know, undiagnosed, I live 220kms from my private hospital, I could have died.

so you can imagine I am very worried!!! Help me please!

I have no idea, but I'd pop in to your GP for peace of mind. I'm sure it's nothing, but I'm sure hearing the heartbeat will reduce your stress levels.

The nurse at ours would check heart beats if you had no appointment.

For your own piece of mind I would advise going to see your GP or even going to your closest ED to get checked out... No harm in making sure everything is ok.

If I were you I would go to see my GP and ask for another scan to see where the placenta is lying and for my own peace of mind.

I'm sure it is all ok but the stress and worry is horrible to go through.

Thanks guys...it's only mild atm and just a slight discolouration on the loo paper...I might see how I go later on, I'll wait til DH gets home and go to ED if it gets worse (please god, let it disappear altogether!)
