    Default Diabetes and pregnancy complications

Does anyone else here have any complications from their pregnancies. I am blind on my right side due to retinopathy (had brilliant care during my pregnancy but it wasn't planned so before hand wasn't great) had eyes tested when I found out i was pregnant (4 weeks) and they were perfect. I had retinal detachments in both eyes and right eye kit didn't repair so am blind in that eye. I was medically advised to not have any further pregnancies so have since had my tubes done. I have a beautiful miss 6 and a beautiful dsd (10) but it's gutting not being able to have any more. daughter was born via csection at 36 weeks after my first bleed in right side. Anyone else have any health complications from there pregnancy.

Diabetes did that to your eye? Wow that's one complication I wouldn't have expected. That's horrible *hugs*.

No complications from pregnancy as of yet, but I'm hypoglycemic and liver is abnormal.. I'm hoping I wont get any further problems but doctor says I will likely become diabetic. Reading this has made that statement just a little bit scarier.

    *hug*

Retinopathy can be quite common but most people's eyes go back to normal within 6 months. I was just unlucky. I have a beautiful daughter who is worth it though.
