Default How long to Process PPL application?

I've been waiting for 4 weeks now.

    Is this normal?

Call them. I waited 4 weeks also with no word so I called and they hadn't even processed it yet.
I actually completed the application 3 months before my start date like they asked so it was over 4 months by the time bub came.
When I called they processed it on the spot.

I waited 11 weeks!! Call and say you are experiencing financial hardship and they will push it along.

I've only been waiting 3 weeks so far, but when I called to check that they had received my proof of birth, they told me that there's a minimum 35 day processing time!!

I just got my first payment (plus back pay as I asked for it to start from bubs birth date) yesterday. I handed in forms about a month ago.

Wow - I can't believe there is such a big variance.

    Thanks for everyone's replies.

I would chase it up just to push them along. I lodged mine got a letter a few weeks later to say it was all good and then the day it was meant to start i got nothing.. called them and they told me my application had been cancelled because i hadn't supplied bank details.. funny that considering they have been paying me family payment for 18 years!
