Default Cervix gone from 6cms to 4.3cms in 4 weeks.. normal for 24 weeks?

As the title states an ultrasound today my cervix was 4.3cms. At my 18 week scan it was 6cms. Is it normal for the cervix to dilate this much this early.

I gave birth last time at 35 weeks and am really hoping to make it to full term.

    Any advice would be appreciated!

Hmmm... Are you sure your cervix was dilated or were they measuring cervical shortening?

It's not actually that your cervix is dilating, it is your cervix getting shorter preparing for birth.
Anything above 3cm is considered normal cervical length.
