Default Whats a good Iron supplement? Something easy to take, doesnt taste horrible etc

Im 32weeks and I think I might be starting to get a bit Iron deficient.

Im seeing doctor tomorrow and going to ask for levels to be checked as I havent been checked for a few months now. Im also trying to increase the iron rich foods I eat, but over last few weeks not really making any differrence. Going to start drinking juice with meals as well to help with absorption.

Can anyone tell me what is a good Iron supplement to take so I can be prepared?

I found Ferro Grad C best, but it can sometimes make you a bit constipated! I drank it with orange juice and kept up the fluids and it was fine, also recommended by my GP and OB/GYN.

Spatone is really good for iron absorption. It doesn't taste very good but if you down a glass of Orange juice right away, the taste in your mouth disappears.

Spatone here too it's so good! It's liquid so I just pour the sachet into a glass of orange juice and I can't even taste it. I love that it's all natural too.

I just found this interesting article on Iron levels and supplements, written by an Australian obstetrician. Thought it would be good to share!
